Hats for China

Saturday 15 December 2007 at 12:00 am

Rowan's whole family is getting involved in her school project! The children have been making warm hats and distributing them to orphanages around the word as well as children here in Hawaii undergoing chemotherapy. The Weinan and AnKang orphanages will soon be beneficiaries of their caring (and skilled!) needlework.

Rowan and Darby share warm wishes… and hats!

Trolley and Holly

Saturday 15 December 2007 at 12:00 am

Trolley riders got a good start on their holiday cheer when they took off from the HIC station to tour the Honolulu City Lights on December 6th. The seats were hard to come by this year after bad weather forced the cancellation of the rides on December 5th. Please make sure you sign up early next year. Many thanks to those who donated their fees from the cancelled rides! HIC garnered $400 in donations this year and the HIC community enjoyed a festive evening on the town. The children were a joy to photograph!
