Make a Difference
An unrestricted gift to Hawaii International Child (HIC) is a valuable gift to the organization. It allows HIC to meet the increasing costs of providing exemplary services and programs to parents and families. It also allows HIC to do important humanitarian work around the world. Your contribution, large or small, has the power to change a child’s life.
HIC is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Donors are the lifeline to HIC and the important work we do placing orphans into forever families. Your valued gift will be acknowledged on our website and in the HIC Annual Report, unless otherwise notified.

Donate goods or professional services
Get rid of household items, office equipment, even a car that is still in good shape. Donate them to HIC. Professional services can be a valuable gift as well. Your gift has tax advantages.
Make a gift in memory or honor of someone special
Recognize or remember someone special through a Memoriam or Tribute Gift. We will send a letter to that person or family members notifying them of the gift.
Make a donation through your employer's matching gift program
Many employers have matching gift policies or employee fundraising campaigns. Check with your Human Resources Office.
Make a designated gift through Aloha United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign
You can make a gift designated to HIC through United Way even if you are not a United Way member agency and designate it to us. If you are a Combined Federal Campaign member agency our number is 12408.
Give securities such as stocks and bonds
Marketable securities are a valuable gift and save you the taxable portion of the capital gains.
Make a lasting planned gift
